NY Personal Auto policies have many options that impact premiums. This includes –
Liability protection provides legal defense and a settlement to those you may injure or for property you may damage. These limits can become outdated over time.
The occupants of your car can be protected from Uninsured Motorists (no insurance at all) with mandatory coverage with limits of $25,000 per Person and $50,000 per Accident. Supplementary coverage includes protection from Underinsured Motorists (legally insured, but with insufficient coverage for the legitimate value of your bodily injury and where the Third Party Bodily Injury Liability Limits are less than your limits). You can purchase up to your Bodily Injury Liability limits.
Deductibles apply. Choosing higher deductibles lowers your premium.
Road Service provides reimbursement of reasonable emergency expenses such as towing.
Transportation Expense, also known as Rental Car Reimbursement.
We ask for the opportunity to review your needs when purchasing auto insurance. We also provide a written review each year.
