COVERAGE OVERVIEW
PERSONAL AUTO POLICY
This coverage is for Antique, Classic, Modified, Custom, Kit, Replica, Exotic and similar vehicles. Coverage for Liability, Tort Option, and First Party Benefits must NOT exceed the limits on your primary Personal Auto policy.
USAGE GUIDELINES
The affordable rates assume the car will be driven on a limited basis (not for daily commuting); not used in racing or timed events; and kept in an enclosed, locked garage.
DRIVER GUIDELINES
Each driver must have at least 5 years of experience; a favorable driving record; and there must be one regular-use vehicle for every licensed driver in the household.
IF YOU ARE INJURED
The First Party Benefits include Medical Payments, Extraordinary Medical Benefit, Income Loss, Accidental Death and Funeral Benefits
IF YOU INJURE SOMEONE OR DAMAGE OTHERS’ PROPERTY
Liability protection provides legal defense and a settlement to
- those you may injure, or
- for property you may damage.
IF YOU ARE INJURED BY AN IMPROPERLY INSURED DRIVER
The occupants of your car can be protected from injuries by Uninsured Motorists or Underinsured Motorists. You can
- reject this optional coverage,
- lower the limit (matches the Bodily Injury Liability limit)
- reject stacking (multiplies the coverage times the vehicles on the policy).
TORT OPTION
PA drivers are offered two choices for not-at-fault injuries – Limited Tort or Full Tort.
YOUR CAR DAMAGE
Claim settlement uses an Agreed Value approach. Deductibles for vehicle damage apply. American Collectors also offers a “zero deductible” option.
- Collision (roadway accident, hit-and-run)
- Comprehensive (fire, theft, vandalism, glass damage, flood, hitting a deer, & more)
Spare Parts coverage is automatically included up to $500.
Inflation Guard automatically increases the value of your car by 2% per quarter; 8% per year.
Vehicles in Restoration can be covered prior to total completion of that process.
