You should carry your Auto Insurance ID Card in your vehicle. You will need the card for registration; at the request of a police officer; at the time of an accident; and for state inspection of your vehicle.
A duplicate ID card can be obtained via your computer and printer.

Canadian ID Card
Canadian regulations require visitors to carry Canadian ID cards reflecting their American auto insurance coverage. These cards must be printed on yellow heavy-stock paper templates. They cannot be printed on a home printer. If you plan to travel to Canada, please contact us by e-mail (agency@wrins.com) or call us to request a card. Be sure to tell us which vehicle(s) you are driving across the border.
New York ID Card
New York ID cards must be bar-coded. At this time, they cannot be created on a home printer. If you need a replacement card for your NY Auto Insurance Policy, please contact us by e-mail (agency@wrins.com) or call us to request a card.
Commercial Auto ID Card
